Call of Duty DLC Sale for Charity
Call of Duty Downloadable Content Sale
Activision has announced that all of the downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that has been previously released is to go on sale starting from July 4th for a week, and better yet, a portion of this price is being donated to charity. Specifically, the Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit organisation that helps war veterans to find a job and receive training. The Call of Duty Endowment has already reported to have given $1.7 million to help post-military soldiers with job placement and training.
The content that has been discounted is:
- Call of Duty : Black Ops First Strike
- Call of Duty : Black Ops Escalation
- Call of Duty : Black Ops Annihilation
- Call of Duty : Black Ops Rezurrection
- Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection 1
- Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection 2
The discount has been applied to Xbox360, Playstation 3 and PC (via Steam), and reduces the price from $14.99 to $7.49 (Price may differ due to regions and payment formats).
Does this mean a possible revival of the COD: BO zombie mode? How has your experience been with the franchise lately and should more publishers be doing this in support of charity, have your say in the comments section.
